P&H Milling is Canada’s largest Canadian-owned milling company, producing high-quality flour and cereal products for bakeries, food manufacturers, and consumers.
We are seeking a Certified Millwright to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance, service, repair, and maintenance of plant and facilities equipment in a safe and efficient working manner.
Day to Day:
- Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges etc.
- Troubleshoot any issues with hydraulic systems.
- Perform general facility maintenance.
- Participate in fumigation/heat treatment. Note: working in higher temperatures is involved during fumigation.
- Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job.
- Ability to complete fall arrest, forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift training.
What You’ll Bring:
- Journeyman/Red Seal Millwright certification
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Able to work in dusty, hot, and outdoor environments
- Knowledge of quality control and BRCGS standards
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available for on-call work depending on business need
