Join Nord-Bridge as a Volunteer for our Friday Bingo Program Setup! This role offers a fulfilling chance to engage with community members while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable Bingo experience.
We need enthusiastic volunteers every Friday afternoon to assist with setting up and taking down tables and chairs for the Bingo program. Arrive by 11:30 a.m. for setup and return by 3 p.m. for takedown, which will greatly benefit our community members. Good communication and teamwork are key as you will be working with patrons, including seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tables and chairs for Bingo participants
- Take down and store equipment after the session
- Maintain a cheerful environment for players
- Aid participants who may require assistance
- Lift tables up to 20 pounds when necessary
Requirements:
- Must be 14 years old or older
- Punctual and reliable attendance is essential
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort with seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Prior knowledge of Bingo is beneficial
