Lead hydroelectric construction and commissioning quality in Brossard with Voith, coordinating inspections, documentation, NCRs, and customer acceptance activities. As Engineer, Construction and Commissioning Quality Assurance, you will lead site quality management across construction, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and closeout. You will coordinate with Project Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Quality, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and site stakeholders. Your work supports compliant project execution through quality plans, ITPs, records, corrective actions, and acceptance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site quality activities through construction, commissioning, turnover, and project closure
- Develop and execute Quality Plans, ITPs, checklists, and schedules
- Manage customer submittals, quality records, turnover packages, and closeout documents
- Investigate NCRs, coordinate corrective actions, and verify effective closure
- Coordinate inspections, testing, audits, witness points, and acceptance criteria
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline preferred
- Experience in hydroelectric, power generation, construction, commissioning, or industrial projects preferred
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 principles
- Strong customer-facing, leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Fluency in French and English with frequent travel availability
