As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare Canadian and US personal and corporate tax returns, compilation engagements, and information returns. You will also review bookkeeping and payroll assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns, including T2 filings
- Prepare personal T1 and US 1040 tax returns
- Prepare US corporate 1120, 1120-S, and 1120-F returns
- Work on compilation engagements and information returns
- Assist with CRA reviews and ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- Minimum four years of public accounting experience with a Canadian CPA or CA firm
- Tax or accounting function experience; US tax experience desired
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Caseware or Caseview, TaxPrep, and CCH Axcess
- Successful completion of the CFE and/or CPA designation
- Proficiency with MS Office, AI, automation tools, and communication
