What do we value?

  • 10+ years of progressive Health & Safety experience, including 5+ years in construction, heavy civil, highway maintenance, or a similar operational environment.
  • Proven leadership experience developing teams, managing performance, setting priorities, and driving results through others.
  • Strong ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and lead multiple initiatives to successful completion with minimal supervision.
  • Experience developing strategic plans, managing resources, and delivering on departmental goals, performance measures, and business objectives.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with Operations, business leaders, and senior leadership.
  • Extensive field-based experience with a practical understanding of safety requirements in active construction and operational environments.
  • Hands‑on leadership style with sound judgment and the ability to balance regulatory compliance, operational needs, and organizational risk.
