Use heavy civil estimating expertise to evaluate geotechnical construction tenders and develop grounded cost estimates for SB Canada’s Major Projects group. This Estimator / Project Coordinator supports projects involving deep foundations, ground improvement, excavation support, tunnelling, or related construction. You will complete takeoffs, manage subcontractor quotes, assess risks, and collaborate with engineering and operations. Awarded projects may include construction handover and direct project support. Key Responsibilities:
Build comprehensive estimates from available project information Evaluate design-build solutions with the engineering team Define means and methods with operations Develop preliminary schedules and attend required meetings Support scheduling, claims, cost control, and communication Requirements:
Three-plus years in heavy civil or geotechnical construction Hands-on quantity takeoff and cost estimate experience Exposure to scheduling, cost control, or change management Engineering degree or diploma in a related discipline Deep foundations experience is an asset Bring geotechnical construction knowledge, estimating accuracy, and delivery awareness to SB Canada’s cross-Canada major projects.
