What if your next challenge let you put your multidisciplinary technical expertise to work for your colleagues, building a digital environment so reliable, secure, and seamless to use every day that nobody even thinks about it?
Are you known for your versatility, curiosity, and service mindset?
Do you enjoy optimizing systems as much as solving problems?
Do you automate whatever is repetitive, fix the root cause rather than the symptom, and love sharing what you know?
Then this role is for you.
For nearly 30 years, Vigilance Santé has been developing software solutions that help healthcare professionals make better decisions.
Rx Vigilance is used in 55% of pharmacies across Canada.
Here, work-life balance isn't a slogan, it's a reality, and every team member contributes directly to the company's success.
And beyond what we do, what matters most is how we do it.
- We build together, enriched by each other's perspectives.
- Here, you're not just a number: every person truly matters.
- We share our contributions to the company's success at our all‑hands meetings.
- We celebrate achievements and life's important moments.
- Autonomy is real.
- And we celebrate our successes together.
Your role
Reporting to the IT Team Lead and working alongside your team, you'll become a technical go‑to person for our digital workplace environment, both on‑premises and in the cloud.
You'll configure it, secure it, automate it, and evolve it toward fully cloud‑based management.
You'll play a key role in operational efficiency and cybersecurity.
You'll work effectively both independently and in collaboration with the IT Support Technician, the Information Systems Administrator, and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to serve all 80 of your colleagues.
Specifically, you will
- Act as the technical owner of Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, Share Point, One Drive), the on‑premises infrastructure (local network, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies), and various Saa S applications (Atlassian, Hub Spot, Terranova, Squadcast, Splashtop, etc.).
- Implement and maintain identity and access management policies, including MFA, Conditional Access, least privilege, and privileged account management.
- Manage application packaging, deployment, and update mechanisms across the workplace IT environment.
- Ensure the compliance and security of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and plan updates and patches according to best practices (Action1).
- Secure, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to systems, networks, performance, security, and connectivity.
- Administer the office's virtualized environment (Microsoft hypervisors and internal servers).
- Automate recurring operations (Power Shell, Microsoft Graph, AI tools) to free up time for higher‑value activities.
- Securely configure enterprise AI tools (including Claude, already deployed) and promote the effective use of collaboration tools.
- Serve as an advanced escalation point and share your knowledge with the IT Support Technician, while maintaining an employee‑focused service approach.
- Prepare the technical evidence required for compliance audits (SOC 2, Quebec's Law 25) and maintain clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date documentation.
- Develop or contribute to the development and implementation of policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures within your area of expertise (NIST, ITIL).
What We're Looking For
- Must-haves
- At least 5 years in systems administration, including proven expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune in an enterprise setting.
- At least one completed migration from on‑premises management (Active Directory, Group Policy) to cloud‑based management.
- Strong command of identity and device security: conditional access, MFA, compliance.
- Comfort with Power Shell and an instinct to automate anything repetitive.
- Excellent communication skills in French and a good ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to effectively collaborate with various partners.
- Nice-to-haves
- Microsoft certifications (MD 102, SC 300, MS 102, or AZ 104).
- Experience applying AI to IT operations.
- Knowledge of virtualized environments and Microsoft hypervisors.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Atlassian Cloud, or Linux.
- Knowledge of SCCM and PDQ.
- Experience in healthcare or a regulated environment (SOC 2, Quebec's Law 25).
- A passion for documenting and sharing your knowledge.
A degree in computer science or IT is an asset, but it's your experience that counts.
If your background is a little different but you see yourself in this role, we encourage you to apply.
Why join us?
At Vigilance Santé, we believe in trust, autonomy, and collaboration.
You'll thrive in a flexible, human, and stimulating environment where your ideas are genuinely heard and your impact is direct.

- Your growth: a skills development program, paid Microsoft certifications, and protected time for automation and modernization.
- Your day‑to‑day, simplified: company cell phone or monthly allowance, financial support for ergonomic equipment, and free parking.
- A team that comes together: quarterly activities, a social club, an annual party, and recognition programs, including Vigidollars, our internal recognition currency.
