Shape healthcare data architecture at Verto Health through hands-on software engineering, interoperability design, and AI-assisted development leadership. Own foundational systems used across clinical data products. As Principal Software Engineer, you will serve as the senior technical voice and owner of the product’s underlying data architecture. You will write code, review engineering work, and design ingestion and transformation for fragmented healthcare data. Your work spans HL7 v2, FHIR, claims, and third-party sources, creating dependable inputs for product and AI engineering teams. Key Responsibilities:
Set and maintain the code review quality standard Build and drive the AI-assisted development pipeline Own the canonical healthcare data model Design ingestion and transformation pipelines Write and review production software code Requirements:
Principal-level software engineering experience Healthcare data interoperability expertise Experience with HL7 v2 and FHIR Experience working with claims data Ability to collaborate across technical teams Bring software engineering leadership, healthcare interoperability, and data architecture expertise to Verto Health’s AI-enabled platform.
