VERBIO Diesel Canada seeks a Terminal Operator for its Welland biodiesel and glycerin production facility. The work involves transferring finished goods, raw materials, and chemicals through tanks, railcars, and tank trucks. You will monitor HMI and PLC systems, use a telehandler for dry products and totes, and follow operating procedures and regulations. This position reports to the terminal manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer products between storage tanks, railcars, and tank trucks
- Unload dry products and chemical totes using a telehandler
- Open valves and connect hoses for product transfer
- Monitor HMI and PLC systems during loading
- Complete equipment inspections and spill-response activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Telehandler or lift experience preferred
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods knowledge is an asset
- Industrial terminal experience is an asset
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
