- Our client is seeking a
Sales Engineer to drive market expansion and secure product approvals within the local civil engineering and consulting community .
This role is pivotal in influencing design and construction specifications, ensuring our innovative solutions are incorporated into projects at the regional level.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with civil engineering firms, design consultants, municipalities, and developers .
- Conduct daily in-person visits with design firms and regulatory agencies to promote products and generate project opportunities.
- Deliver engaging lunch-and-learn sessions and professional organization presentations.
- Provide technical support to the local sales team, assisting in product positioning and specification approvals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
(e. g., ASCE, APWA, TSPE).
- Identify and develop strategies to gain approvals from local regulatory bodies and engineering groups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
(P. Eng designation is an asset).
- Strong knowledge of stormwater and drainage systems .
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive engagement within the engineering community.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
