Role
The Senior Technical Consultant - R&D is a leading member of the Veeva Systems Professional Services group.
You will provide consulting and technical architecture design on projects implementing Veeva Vault R&D applications and Vault Platform cloud solutions to life sciences customers.
You will act as a customer advocate, working closely with Services, Product, Sales, and Strategy teams to ensure customer success both today and in the future.
This is a remote, full-time permanent role; qualified U.
S. and Canada–based applicants near an airport and able to travel are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Systems implementation, Vault R&D product suite, Vault Platform, technical design, and Saa S implementation best practices
- Design and implement cloud-based integrations
- Design and provide expertise for the development of custom applications
- Implement Java-based solutions using the Vault Java SDK
- Manage integration and development projects and resources
- Contribute to the professional services knowledge base
- Develop internal and external tools to help customers and consultants
- Partner with other parts of the organization to deliver technical presentations and evangelize the value of Veeva's solution
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with integration architecture, design, and development for enterprise/cloud software (e. g., Salesforce. com, SAP, Workday) or document/content management systems (e. g., Open Text, Share Point, Documentum)
- 7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience
- 5+ years of development experience in Java, . NET, Python, C#, or C++
- Experience building cloud/Saa S solutions using REST APIs
- Proven track record presenting to senior management and executives as a subject matter expert
- Experience leading and mentoring team members
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience with SDLC processes
- Ability to articulate integration design patterns
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada

- Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry
- Experience with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety processes
- Project management experience for enterprise software implementations
- Experience with Gx P regulations and software validation
- Document/Data migration experience
- Product Manager experience

- AWS tools such as Lambda and EC2

Compensation
