This itinerant position provides first-level and deskside technical support across VSB schools and District locations. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, printing, networking, and applications. The work also includes training staff and students, documenting tickets, coordinating repairs, and maintaining asset records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and deskside technical support
- Troubleshoot Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS devices
- Record, categorize, prioritize, and assign service requests
- Document work and schedule service tickets
- Coordinate warranty and third-party hardware repairs
Requirements:
- Grade 12 and relevant post-secondary technology training
- One year of information technology experience
- Support Apple, Microsoft, network, wireless, and printing technologies
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Valid BC driver's license and travel willingness
