As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you report to the Manager and supervise over sixteen Housekeeping Aides and Lead Hands. You organize staff, resources, and daily activities while supporting safe, respectful care environments. The position combines housekeeping supervision, supply monitoring, reporting, and facility cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise over sixteen Housekeeping Aides and Lead Hands
- Organize staff, resources, and daily housekeeping activities
- Order, monitor, and receive Environmental Services supplies
- Maintain reports, monitor expenditures, and prepare budget estimates
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain facility areas and equipment
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education and three years recent related experience
- Six months supervisory experience or equivalent education and training
- Valid British Columbia Driver's License for possible local travel
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
