As a Food Service Worker, you will work within a client and family centered care model. Reporting to Food Services leadership, you will portion meals, prepare diet items, and maintain kitchen areas. The position supports patients, residents, families, visitors, and staff through respectful service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portion and serve patient and resident meals
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, beverages, desserts, and diet items
- Check meals and trays for dietary accuracy
- Wash dishes, clean equipment, and sanitize work areas
- Deliver trays and replenish food and paper supplies
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education and one year's recent related experience
- Food Safe Certificate Level 1
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
