Produce diagnostic radiographs with Vancouver Coastal Health as a Radiological Technologist on General Radiology at Lions Gate Hospital. Work in computerized clinical environments. This Radiological Technologist position supports patient and family-centred care at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. Apply radiologic technology standards, conduct diagnostic procedures, and collaborate with Radiologists or physicians. Use radiation safety principles, patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment knowledge throughout examinations. The role also supports clinical competence through committees, teams, and approved research projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce diagnostic radiographs using computerized systems
- Conduct diagnostic procedures independently or collaboratively
- Apply radiation safety principles during examinations
- Monitor patients and equipment performance during procedures
- Complete documentation and maintain examination room cleanliness
Requirements:
- Recognized Medical Radiography program completion
- CAMRT certification and/or OTIMROEPMQ radiodiagnosis certification
- Eligibility for Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists membership
- Knowledge of PACS, radiology information systems, and electronic health records
- Ability to communicate and work independently or collaboratively
