This Registered Nurse position supports the High Acuity Burns Trauma team. You will care for acutely ill patients with complex, acute, and co-existing chronic illnesses. Practice independently and within an interdisciplinary team while following British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives standards. The position includes the BCIT Advanced High Acuity Specialty Program, with theory, examinations, full-time training, and practicum locations scheduled approximately during 2027. Successful completion is required before working in the department. Applicants are prioritized with approximately two years of recent acute medical or surgical experience at the program start date.
