These important roles support the school when there is a need for additional staff due to special events or teacher absences and are often opportunities for people to get familiar with our school and community before applying for more permanent roles within the school. At VCS, we require TOCs for all grades and specialties. To be considered for a TOC position, you must be a certified teacher in British Columbia or alternatively, if you are not certified, you will have experience working with children and youth in different specialties and grades.
