About Our Client
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
About the Opportunity
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial results, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Develop management reporting and analytical tools.
- Support process improvements, special projects, and ad hoc analysis.
About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- CPA designation in progress is preferred.
- 2–5 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
- Experience within a financial institution or financial services environment is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- ERP/financial systems experience is an asset.
