This Teaching Assistant position supports Software Engineering Capstone Project Part 1 during the 2027 Winter Semester. You will assist student groups, test developed software, and advise meetings. The work requires English and French communication, plus familiarity with software design and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist groups developing software engineering capstone projects
- Study and test software developed by student groups
- Attend meetings and offer advice to students
- Evaluate design, usability, and maintainability
- Assess written and oral communication in English and French
Requirements:
- Completed third-year, fourth-year, or graduate usability courses
- Completed software design courses at the required level
- At least 8 months' software engineering industry experience
- Familiarity with git, issue tracking, and automated testing
- Listening and reading ability in both official languages
