Untold Studios is hiring a CFX Artist in Toronto to build scalable character-effects setups for stylized and photorealistic characters and creatures. Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada Contract and work arrangement
Full-time; hybrid in Toronto. Applicants are asked about their right to work and current base. What you will do
Create believable cloth, feather, hair and related character simulations for advertising, long-form and real-time projects.
Build robust, procedural and team-friendly CFX setups.
Troubleshoot shots and collaborate with artists across the character and VFX pipeline.
What the studio is looking for
Professional Houdini experience and proficiency with Vellum Solver.
Strong independent troubleshooting and procedural setup skills; VEX is preferred.
Muscle experience in Houdini 20.5 or 21 and experience supporting other artists are beneficial.
