Manage veterinary hospital services in Guelph, supporting patient care, client experience, and staffing across the Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre. The Manager, Patient Care and Service Delivery reports to the Senior Manager, Hospital Operations. This position supervises Registered Veterinary Technicians, Hospital Assistants, Sterile Processing Department Technicians, and Animal Care Attendants. The primary managerial focus is anticipated within the Large Animal Hospital, with operational support for Pharmacy, Client Services, and Medical Records. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise patient care and client service teams Set performance standards and facilitate individualized performance management Align schedules with service volumes and workload fluctuations Ensure staff cross-training supports adequate service coverage Improve client service, patient care, and teaching experiences Requirements:
Veterinary technician, healthcare administration, or related education Six years of progressive supervisory experience preferred Experience in veterinary or complex healthcare services Strong communication, problem-solving, and recommendation skills Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook Support Large Animal Hospital operations through veterinary supervision, scheduling, cross-training, and client-focused service delivery leadership.
