This Pharmacy Technician position reports to the Pharmacy Manager III within UHN's Pharmacy department. The work includes compounding, dispensing, pharmacy computer systems, documentation, and staff or patient education. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare prescriptions independently using master worksheets
- Complete compounding and dispensing responsibilities
- Replenish medication supplies for assigned areas
- Maintain updated patient information in pharmacy systems
- Complete reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Complete an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
- Maintain Part A registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Manage competing priorities under minimal supervision
- Communicate excellently verbally and in writing
- Meet the physical requirements of the job
