Job Description
The department of Management Information Systems (SIO) at Université Laval’s Faculty of Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in information systems.
Candidates must hold a Ph.
D. in business administration, or in a related field, with a specialization in information systems.
Expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) or conducting AI research will be considered an asset.
Doctoral candidates nearing completion of their degree (ABD) will also be considered.
Applications are invited at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor; rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The expected start date is June 1st, 2027.
Responsibilities include
- Teach MIS courses to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.
- Conduct research in management information systems or related subjects.
- Supervise graduate and doctoral students and actively participate in continuing education activities.
- Contribute to the life of the department, school, and university.
- Develop ties with the academic and business communities.
