This Procurement Coordinator role supports purchasing activities, supplier coordination, purchase order tracking, and delivery follow-up. You will work with the Procurement Lead and cross-functional teams. The position helps maintain accurate records, timely communication, and material availability for manufacturing and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review internal purchase requests for completeness
- Request quotations and organize comparable supplier information
- Maintain supplier, quotation, and purchasing system records
- Track purchase orders, confirmations, shipments, and delivery timelines
- Share delivery updates with affected departments and escalate delays
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in business or supply chain preferred
- One to three years procurement or purchasing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
- Professional communication skills with suppliers and internal departments
- Experience using purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and shared folders
