As a Service Tech II, you will maintain and repair rental and customer equipment within United Rentals' Power/HVAC division. The work includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic, dehumidification, and air purification systems. Exceptional customer service remains central to daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair diesel engines and HVAC equipment
- Service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Demonstrate equipment for customers
- Travel occasionally to customer sites
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to two years repairing diesel engines or HVAC equipment
- Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills across relevant systems
- Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
