Drive package deliveries for UPS in Barrie, using defensive driving and customer contact skills. This permanent full-time position works outdoors Monday through Friday.
As a Package Delivery Driver, you will deliver and pick up packages efficiently while supporting daily truck operations. The work requires lifting, lowering, and carrying packages, reading maps, maintaining delivery information, and following safe driving methods. The work location is 474 Welham Rd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up packages efficiently
- Execute company-established safe and defensive driving methods
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Record and maintain delivered package information
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario G or higher driver's licence
- Clean driver's abstract meeting specified violation limits
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds
- Ability to read and navigate maps or map books
- Flexibility for a 9:00 a.m. start and eight-to-ten-hour shifts
