The Business Accounting Specialist provides financial leadership across UFA's crop input retail operation.
This role partners with Operations and Regional Operations leaders.
Responsibilities span accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory accounting, product costing, pricing, reporting, and administrative controls.
Reliable information supports operational and commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receivables, payables, payments, invoices, credits, and reconciliations
- Maintain transaction integrity from purchase order through payment
- Reconcile inventory, valuation, costing, adjustments, and physical variances
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reporting
- Improve ERP utilization, internal controls, and administrative processes
Requirements
- Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Agribusiness diploma or degree
- Progressive finance, accounting, inventory, or business administration experience
- Strong receivables, payables, reconciliation, and reporting capability
- Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting systems experience
- Analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
