Design utility substations with Qualus using AutoCAD Civil 3D, drainage analysis, and stormwater management from Vancouver or Calgary. As an Engineer III in Qualus’s T&D Canada business, you will support civil engineering design for substation facilities. Your work spans grading, drainage, earthworks, access roads, fencing, retaining walls, and oil containment. You will also contribute to quality reviews, technical documentation, and integrated project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop civil designs from conceptual through detailed stages
- Perform analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and applicable tools
- Prepare grading, drainage, stormwater, and construction documents
- Review vendor documents against project specifications
- Coordinate civil project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering degree from a recognized university
- Canadian P.Eng. designation or eligibility with EGBC
- Five to eight years of civil design experience
- Knowledge of Canadian codes, standards, and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
