Shape For Honor’s player-facing interfaces as a Senior UI Artist at Ubisoft Montréal, using visual design and user experience principles. Work closely with art, design, programming, and UX teams. You will create and modernize menus, heads-up displays, systems, and game features for For Honor. The position combines interface design, graphic design, prototyping, and game-engine integration. You will also help simplify player journeys, improve navigation, and evolve reusable interface components and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visual assets for menus, displays, systems, and features
- Translate player needs into clear, cohesive interface solutions
- Create mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and animatics when needed
- Apply typography, colour, composition, hierarchy, and motion design
- Integrate and optimize interface assets in the game engine
Requirements:
- Experience creating interfaces or working in graphic design
- Strong composition, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy knowledge
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and After Effects
- Understanding of usability, information architecture, and user-centred design
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate ideas clearly
- Bring interface artistry, prototyping, and player-centred thinking to For Honor’s evolving experience at Ubisoft Montréal.
