Support U-Haul technology in Coquitlam as a Field Computer Specialist, maintaining computer systems, broadband connectivity, and security equipment.
This full-time field role covers assigned-area computer and security systems for U-Haul entities. You will travel between locations, maintain equipment, train users, and distinguish user errors from issues requiring software-vendor escalation. The work includes indoor and outdoor activity, safety precautions, and moving at least 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain maximum uptime for computer systems and broadband connectivity
- Implement and maintain field computer systems across assigned entities
- Support and train users as needed
- Identify security gaps and coordinate compliance solutions
- Participate in ongoing U-Haul University education
Requirements:
- Experience with computers, printers, storage gates, and alarm systems
- Experience with security monitoring, digital video, and VOIP technologies
- Current valid driver's license and clean driving record
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to move a minimum of 50 pounds
