Lead electrical design in Burlington, Ontario, using power distribution and equipment sizing expertise across Mining, Energy, and Infrastructure projects. TWD seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for multidisciplinary consulting projects. You will develop calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. The work includes design coordination, project execution, code compliance, quality assurance, and technical support across project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review electrical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Perform power distribution, grounding, lighting, and cable sizing analyses
- Prepare single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and cable schedules
- Coordinate electrical deliverables with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or recognized equivalent qualification
- Ten or more years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, regulations, and design methodologies
- Experience preparing calculations, technical reports, drawings, and project deliverables
