TSG Staffing Services is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Lead on behalf of our client in the Edmonton area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to lead a high-performing maintenance crew in a dynamic industrial environment.
Job Description:
- Lead and coordinate maintenance teams to deliver safe and efficient operations.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules aligned with production needs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols, company standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and reports.
- Support capital projects, upgrades, and reliability initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering skill development and engagement.
- Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize plant performance.
Job Requirements:
- Journeyperson Millwright certification OR a diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and industrial equipment.
- Skilled in maintenance management systems and computer applications.
- Proven leadership with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in unionized settings considered an asset.
- Safety-focused mindset with a track record of leading by example.
