Reporting to the Manager, Electrical Inspections, you will inspect equipment, investigate incidents, audit functions, and address non-compliance. The work requires recommendations, corrective actions, documentation, and direct communication with clients, contractors, officials, employees, and the public. TSASK delivers technical safety oversight across Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect residential, commercial, and industrial installations and equipment
- Investigate accidents, incidents, violations, and consumer complaints
- Confirm compliance with plans, standards, codes, and regulations
- Document inspection results in reports, logs, and databases
- Approve materials and confirm required re-work
Requirements:
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or equivalent
- Valid Saskatchewan Electrical Journeyperson License
- Five years of related Journeyperson Electrician experience or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Strong investigative, analytical, communication, and organizational skills
