Critical care nursing expertise meets a day-shift travel assignment with Trusted, centered in a Medical ICU and neuro overflow setting. Manage ventilators, titrating drips, and complex patients.
This experienced Registered Nurse assignment requires two years of Critical Care Float Pool experience and recent nursing experience. Travelers provide care for multisystem disease, post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and overflow MICU patients. Epic experience, travel experience, and a large teaching-facility background are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start IVs and manage multiple titrating drips
- Provide critical ventilator care in the Medical ICU
- Float to SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4
- Care for neuro overflow and critical care populations
- Work required holidays and every other weekend
Requirements:
- Two years of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Recent experience within the last twelve months
- Epic experience within the last twenty-four months
- Vermont or compact registered nursing license
- ACLS, BLS, CCRN, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
