The Role:
As a Foreperson, you'll lead key project areas, support field staff, and drive performance and quality. You're an experienced plumber with a track record of leadership and a desire to keep growing.
Technical Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in the mechanical industry (preferred but not required).
- Red Seal Plumbing & Gas B Certification.
- Deep knowledge of construction practices, quality management, and OH&S.
- Working knowledge of the BC Plumbing Code.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between Project Managers and field teams.
- Monitor field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure productivity, quality, and budget alignment.
- Partner with PMs to develop and execute mechanical schedules.
- Review budgets and estimates to avoid overruns and delays.
- Identify and report risks, challenges, or site issues to senior leadership.
- Proactively solve problems with practical, forward-thinking solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and provide updates to the project team.
