This Driveline Technician position focuses on driveshaft repair within the heavy-duty industry. You will assemble and disassemble drivelines, inspect parts, measure flywheels, and regrind them to specifications. The work also includes parts preparation, inventory handling, reassembly, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble drivelines for repair
- Wash, inspect, and discard damaged parts
- Measure and regrind flywheels to specifications
- Prepare replacement parts lists and paperwork
- Reassemble, balance, tag, and place units appropriately
Requirements:
- One year of heavy-duty driveline repair experience
- Automotive Service Excellence certification or equivalent
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
- Own tools or willingness to purchase required tools
- Valid driver's license or CDL with good record
