The Community Engagement Manager plans and delivers engagement for TRP's Stations, Rail, and Systems scope. Reporting to the Communications and Community Engagement Lead, this hands-on manager works with project teams and the Contracting Authority. The focus includes contractual requirements, community information, construction impacts, and practical mitigation. Strong judgment, initiative, and follow-through guide planning, approvals, delivery, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engagement and construction communications plans
- Prepare location-specific plans for sensitive construction activities
- Build relationships with residents, businesses, and community organizations
- Deliver public meetings, open houses, and community events
- Manage enquiries, complaints, notifications, and corrective actions
Requirements:
- Degree in communications, public relations, or related discipline
- Minimum five years' communications or community engagement experience
- Experience delivering construction notifications and enquiry programs
- Experience managing staff, suppliers, and budgets
- Excellent writing, facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills
