CEMENT BULKDRIVER/OPERATOR – BROOKS
The Cement Bulk Driver/Operator is responsible for thesafe operation of equipment on customer location, during travel and while instation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Trican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is thepriority in all activities
- Operate semitractors and trailers in all conditions
- Participate inthe investigation of incidents
- Perform pre andpost-trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
- Attend pre-jobsafety meetings on location
- Inspect andproperly configure all equipment
- Operate allequipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Rig-out(disassemble) all equipment for travel
- Maintain unitsand auxiliary equipment
- Consult withsupervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies
Experience & Skills
- Valid Class 1Driver's licence is required
- High schooldiploma is an asset
- Safe drivingskills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physically fit –heavy lifting required
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadershipand managerial skills
- Skilled inproblem-solving techniques
