Reporting to the Sales Manager, this Account Manager manages medium to large, multi-level, and national accounts. The work combines relationship development, customized proposals, pricing, product knowledge, and market analysis. You will support profitable volume growth while representing Conestoga Meats with customers and industry contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic customer relationships and solicit daily orders
- Develop pricing proposals and customized growth strategies
- Review account performance, trends, and upsell opportunities
- Navigate contracts, pricing, conditions, and account reporting
- Represent products and Conestoga Meats at industry events
Requirements:
- Three to five years of sales experience
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Fresh protein or disassembly industry experience preferred
- Strong customer, market, mathematical, and communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Word and Excel
