Reporting to the Director of Product Management and Business Optimization, you will manage one product category. The position combines product management, financial analysis, cost forecasting, and production planning. Your work supports category growth, competitive pricing, accurate specifications, and stronger sales capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create six to twelve month category optimization plans
- Recommend pricing, product mix, and disposition strategies
- Present weekly category financial insights and initiatives
- Forecast costs using USDA, Chisholm, and industry benchmarks
- Lead product commissioning and specification updates
Requirements:
- Three to five years product management experience required
- Two to three years meat industry production and pricing experience
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Mathematics
- Financial, Microsoft Office, and project management software skills
- Strong communication, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills
