Lead light rail vehicle maintenance for Transdev Canada in Brampton, Ontario, overseeing preventive, corrective, and custodial services. Manage supervisors and technicians in a safety-critical 24/7 environment. As Maintenance of Rolling Stock Manager, you will support the Transdev Canada Rail Team and the Hazel McCallion Line. The position requires maintenance methodology, work order system management, and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems on light rail vehicles. You will also guide stores and warehouse technicians. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee daily LRV maintenance, cleaning, and service delivery Manage supervisors, technicians, and stores or warehouse technicians Monitor KPIs, incidents, delays, performance, and exceptional occurrences Audit maintenance, vehicle cleaning, records, and performance mechanisms Inspect vehicles and support testing and commissioning activities Requirements:
Post-secondary technical program, preferably electrical or mechanical technologies At least ten years preferred in complex safety-critical environments Experience with rail vehicles, inspections, cleaning, and service delivery Experience managing direct and contract maintenance environments Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills Apply maintenance leadership, rail vehicle expertise, and safety-critical management skills to support reliable service on the Hazel McCallion Line.
