Transam Carriers seeks an Inside Sales Representative to bring new shippers onto established Canadian and U.S. lanes. You will prospect by phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualify opportunities, and build relationships with new business prospects. The work centers on Ontario–Western Canada, Ontario–U.S. Midwest, and Northeast lanes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new shippers through phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Focus outreach on core Canadian and U.S. freight lanes
- Book discovery calls and prepare quotes with dispatch
- Close first loads and maintain updated pipeline activity
- Transfer regularly shipping accounts to the Account Manager
Requirements:
- At least one year of B2B outbound sales experience
- Freight or logistics experience considered an asset
- Comfort making high-volume calls and hearing no
- Competitive, persistent, and organized approach
- Excellent phone and written communication skills
