Transam Carriers is an asset-based carrier with 140+ trucks running across Canada and the U.S. We're looking for an organized, reliable City Dispatcher to start the day for our GTA operation.
What you’ll do
- Get our city drivers rolling on time with their first pickups, deliveries, shunts and trailer switches
- Coordinate with customers, warehouses and our linehaul team so freight connects on schedule
- Track drivers in real time (Samsara) and handle delays, appointment changes and early‑morning issues
- Keep accurate trip, hours and detention records
- Hand over clearly to the afternoon dispatcher at midday
What you bring
- 2+ years of dispatch experience, local or city P&D preferred
- Strong knowledge of GTA roads, terminals and customer facilities
- Calm under pressure, clear communicator, highly organized
- Experience with TMS and ELD/telematics systems; Samsara is an asset
- A second language is an asset
