As a Credit Specialist reporting to the Credit Manager, you will oversee assigned accounts and support timely invoicing. The position combines collections experience, customer service, billing, and detailed documentation. You will work with customers, builders, businesses, and internal teams to resolve account issues professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable for assigned commercial accounts
- Ensure accurate billing and timely customer payments
- Resolve outstanding issues and maintain Syspro records
- Reconcile invoices, shortages, overages, and payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with accounting, sales, service, and builder administration
Requirements:
- Prior collections or credit experience is essential
- Ability to manage overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements
- Strong communication and professional problem-solving skills
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
