Lead technical accounting, financial reporting, and monthly close operations as a Financial Controller within an agency on a three-month contract. This experienced Financial Controller manages day-to-day financial operations and accounting team activities. The work covers journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, reporting, and WPP submissions. You will also support budgets, forecasts, controls, and operational efficiency across agency finances. Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Submit financial results, forecasts, budgets, and reports to WPP Prepare statements, management reports, and variance analyses Monitor expenses against budget and review agency profitability Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls Requirements:
Seven to ten-plus years of relevant experience Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise Commercial awareness of agency profitability drivers Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management Apply technical accounting, WPP reporting, and financial leadership expertise to strengthen accuracy and control across agency operations.
