Automotive mechanical services and technical support define this onsite Shop Technician position with Toyota Canada Inc. in Scarborough, Ontario.
As a Rank 4 Shop Technician, you will support Product Quality and Service Support for certain Toyota and Lexus models. Your work includes repairs, parts testing, technical evaluations, campaign instructions, and vehicle safety support. The position reports to the Manager, Field Technical Support & Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical services and repairs on Toyota and Lexus models
- Support Quality Assurance investigations through parts testing and evaluations
- Confirm campaign technical instructions for vehicle safety compliance
- Document services and communicate test or evaluation outcomes
- Maintain shop operations at TSM standards
Requirements:
- Automotive college or university degree or diploma
- Certified Auto Technician license
- Five years of related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel across Canada and work independently
