This permanent position is essential for overseeing the operations of a Class 3 water treatment and Class 1 water distribution facility. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, including a Class 3 Water Treatment certification and experience in wastewater systems. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, scheduling operators, and contributing to the annual budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with water treatment and distribution regulations
- Operate and oversee all treatment plant staff
- Manage chemical and parts inventory efficiently
- Coordinate operations for water production and storage
- Assist with budget monitoring and expenditures
Requirements:
- Class 3 Water Treatment, Class 1 Distribution, and Wastewater certifications
- At least 1 year of treatment plant operation experience
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor
- Experience in RO and UF filtration preferred
- Willingness to work casual weekends as needed
