Lead the Whistler Golf Club through its 2027 reopening, applying strategic leadership and financial expertise in Whistler, British Columbia. This full-time, year-round role oversees a major transition. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Operations, the General Manager directs the Club’s overall operation and financial performance. The position shapes long-term strategy across golf operations, food and beverage, retail, instruction, tournaments, events, sales, guest experience, and environmental stewardship. Collaboration with Tourism Whistler leadership supports execution. Key Responsibilities:
Develop long-term strategy, annual plans, budgets, and performance indicators Oversee golf, food and beverage, retail, instruction, events, and sales Drive revenue growth, profitability, procurement, and contract negotiations Lead teams, training, scheduling, performance management, and succession planning Champion environmental stewardship, capital planning, and community relationships Requirements:
Eight-plus years progressive leadership experience in golf or hospitality Experience leading complex operations and high-performing teams Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and people development skills Excellent communication, relationship-building, influencing, and presentation abilities Microsoft Office and relevant operational or golf systems proficiency Bring golf operations, financial leadership, and relationship-building expertise to guide Whistler Golf Club’s reopening and future direction.
