As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will work under a Senior Fire Alarm Technician's direct supervision. The position covers new and existing systems, including inspections, servicing, repairs, programming panels, and system improvements. You will support fire code compliance and communicate with clients, authorities, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, and troubleshoot existing fire alarm systems
- Complete upgrades, repairs, additions, and system improvements
- Respond to required service calls
- Identify solutions supporting fire code compliance
- Prepare inspection, verification, and deficiency reports
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of related experience
- CFAA certification or Journeyman Electrician status
- Experience programming fire alarm panels
- Knowledge of applicable CAN/ULC standards
- Valid driver's license with three years' driving experience
