The Operations Manager oversees daily operations for a professional association representing lawyers across the Greater Toronto Area. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will translate priorities into work plans, procedures and service standards. The role supports staff, programs, members and strategic priorities across shared functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, workflows, timelines and service standards
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and resolve routine operational issues
- Manage purchasing, invoicing, expenses, contracts and vendor relationships
- Coordinate recruitment logistics, onboarding, training and employment documentation
- Oversee systems, data security, events, facilities and continuity planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
- Minimum five years' progressively responsible related experience
- Experience coordinating functions, budgets, vendors, systems and deadlines
- Financial literacy and experience monitoring budgets and reports
- Strong project management, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
